My mom freaked out when she found me looking at porn when I was a kid. Though there was a very brief look on her face. It wasn't until I was an adult did I realize that it was a brief look of relief. Was looking at naked women so she had her answer that I was straight.

Can only imagine how'd she react if she'd find out I'm into furry art. So I don't intend for her to find out, ever.

I'd say really.
Some parents will throw out their own kid(s) if they're gay/lesbian. Sometimes even if they're bi.

Well hopefully your mom didn't freak out too bad.

And about the gay/lesbian.

Here's how I see it and keep in mind I have the utmost respect.

So originally gay was just for men, man.
But then it grew to encompass women, woman.
Then women, woman, got their own word and it's called lesbian.

Gay - Men, Man.
Lesbian - Women, Woman.

If other people want to call a woman or women gay then that's totally fine. If a woman wants to call herself gay then that is definitely fine. If women want to call other women gay then that to is fine.

But.

I will never call a woman or women gay. I will only call them lesbian or lesbians.

They have their own word and it's called lesbian(s).
