Eztli Tiacauh is an extremely dangerous lynel that plagued the land of Hyrule for centuries. A warlord who showed no mercy and attacked anyone or anything that moved. He was feared throughout the kingdom and no one could match his strength.

Long before the founding of Hyrule and before King Rauru's time, the ancient Zonai sent one of their best to engage this fearsome enemy. After a fierce and long battle, the Zonai warrior emerged victorious. However, the malice in Eztli was so vast and potent, that he would not die. Seeing no other option the Zonai sealed the lynel deep underground, directly underneath a shrine of light.

Thousands of years have past, and the shrine of light that had kept the monster sealed was destroyed by an unknown force. Now free, Eztli emerged from his prison only to find that he does not remember anything. Only his name remains clear on his mind. Unable to find answers in his nearby surroundings, he forces his way out and finds himself in a land full of light. A world unknown yet... familiar.

With little to go off on, he sets out to find clues that would help him fill the holes in his memory. On his journey, he will cross paths with a mysterious individual who is also exploring this strange land. Even though he has never met this being, his appearance causes his rage to build up and a single word pops up in his mind. Zonai....
