The outcome of this artwork is truly phenominal! There are so many mesmerizing details, like the folds in the skin of the hand, the curvature of the claws and teeth, the gorgeous glimmer in the eyes, and the way the closest and furthest aspects are blurred to push the focus onto the character in the foreground- all amazing details that push the incredible realism of the artwork! I also absolutely love the dimension to the scales, the way light scatters across them with orangey hues at the light's cusp and bluish tints as it dips into shadow, the edge of each scale with its own distinct shade too, adds such a delightful touch, as does rhe way the scales so perfectly align with the muscle beneath, it is awesome!! The amber is also gorgeous, understandable why Siobhan would be so excited to see it! And the tangible emotion from the expression is so very wonderfully drawn too, it brings a smile to my face as well!
