Many often wonder why Rabrandt wears a blinder over his right eye while wielding the powers of a Garlean Reaper. Most are too polite or too scared to ask, but he's surprisingly forthright with the answer.

As his connection to the voidsent avatar builds, in the moments before he becomes Enshrouded, his right eye begins to glow an ominous bright red, channeling voidsent power. An observant enemy could connect-the-dots and anticipate the transformation, so keeping the eye hidden prevents the obvious tell.

When that power is ready to be unleashed, and he offers his body as a vessel for the voidsent, the same eye is the conduit for it all. Dark power floods out through the eye, spreading through the rest of his body.

And the harvest begins.
