The full moon always has an effect on WulfBane. But some months that influence is greater than others. This time was one of the more unique and powerful.
As the silver orb shown down on the wolf, the familiar tension in his muscles encompassed as he bathed in the transformative light. The slow swelling of muscles was joined by a greater enhancement of his belly. As the expansion continued, the mutations started. The fur on his muscles encompassed gut parted to reveal a scaled armor more fitting a draconic underbelly which soon continued to spread to a thick reptilian tail stretching behind.
All these dramatic physical changes were happening as WulfBane was also surging upward in height and girth several feet per second. The rapid thickening and ascent was joined by spikes and horns of various shapes and sizes to complement his monstrous form. The freshly minted kaiju wolf loomed over the downtown buildings. Elongated fangs revealed as he grinned, looking down at the metaphorical ants helplessly shining their spotlights on his gargantuan might.
