Sofía walked calmly through the ancient village market, she had been shopping here since before she could walk and now was well known by the stall owners. Almost all now took her choice in fashion attire as though it were normal, though in all honesty Sofía was the only member of the village who blatantly wore a slave collar. Not only wore it, she had crafted the object with her own paws almost ten years ago at the age of twelve, just seven years before the official age of consent went from thirteen to sixteen. Now twenty two she was well above that cutoff age.


She had met Maria in school at the age of fourteen, Maria's family having just moved from Madrid to to Sofía's little village of Ledesma, the massive difference in population having been a tremendous shock to the older Ojos Azules and it was Maria's deep blue eyes that had caught the younger feline. It was Sofia's collar that had caught Maria's attention.


They had become lovers and now lived together, Maria being a jewelry craftier of some renown while Sofia was a painter and leather worker who's creations were constantly searched out by the well to do. They live a comfortable, if somewhat isolated life with Sofia doing most of the mundane shopping, cooking and such. In public the only hint of their lifestyle, other than the ornate collar Sofia wore was Sofia's constant deferral to Maria's wishes. In private... Well in private Sofia was completely at Maria's beck and call, wearing nothing but sandals, her collar and the occasional leash while inside. That they were in love was probably the greatest understatement in their village.
