Today, June 29th, is the birthday of my good friend CrimsonRune!
Each year, I've gifted him a TF with a dose of sadism, just the way he likes it! Three years ago, his human self became a tasty birthday cake. Two years ago, his pony self became a pinata. Last year, his reindeer sona, Charlie, got turned into his own birthday party's trash can. This year breaks the birthday party trend, but still contains that lovely touch of sadism he so desires~
Crim has been really getting into Balatro over the past few months, sharing results and Joker layouts with his friends. On his special day this year, he finds he's fallen a little too far into the game, taking it to a literal extent! After being sucked into his computer monitor, he felt himself flatten out and stiffen up, being reduced to a mere digital rectangular resemblance of himself on a playing card!
It seems he even obtained a Joker ability of his own in the process, being able to duplicate one or BOTH of the abilities of the Jokers that flank him. He looks like he could be an extremely powerful card, if played wisely and with some good luck on his side. But such power doesn't come so easily; there's always a looming threat that he'll be destroyed with each passing round~
