Barb was at a work function at the Ashokan Center. It was a dinner and drinks affair. After dinner she and her friends were wandering around down by the creek and saw a handmade "DANGER! Quicksand!!" sign. It was not an official sign so they assumed it had to be some kind of joke, as it wasn't near the water which was pretty low due to it being summer. So Barb says "Get your phone out and get a picure of me at the sign." She wiggles over and leans on the post the sign is on. At that moment the ground around her melts into quicksand and Barb began her descent. "What the hell?"
