Phone cameras often stretch faces. I forget exact why's and where's but it's something to do with the lenses focus and view angles. Also your brain is used to seeing your face in mirrors that flip it, so a camera that shows how you look to others will always make your brain go "AYO WHAT THE FUCK" at least once.
