sorry if this ends up being my year of duds, i still have basically no drawing motivation outside of the few things i've done that i can't even post yet because they're for an unreleased project, i havent been out in public enough to understand the pain everyone else has with this song but i can at least repost my thoughts from this remix
when i first heard it i thought it was just a mashup of the two songs, thinking that anxiety would have its own unique instrumental, so (the remix) is technically closer to what i thought it was gonna sound like once i played it
personally i don't have any strong hatred towards it but i feel the anger of getting pranked by the intro just for it to be a bad remix, like hearing any of david guetta's covers ruining a perfectly good dance track, but i dont seem to mind it as much as other people do and i'm at least glad that more mashup stuff is getting recognized and promoted
it kinda feels like those cases where a movie scene/game cutscene uses a temporary track to set the mood, but they feel like it fits so much that they go through with licensing it just for that part
