Long ago, the world of Aurus was nothing but a vast land of darkness and chaos. A being of great power and size was born in the core of the planet, and with the absorbed energy of the core, she rose to authority and beat down the monsters ruling the young planet. Dragons trembled at the sight of her glorious body, and the Light she gave off illuminated the growing, hungry darkness enveloping the land. The world fell to her furious flame, burning to the ground and becoming fertile for brand new life. She went into a deep slumber after killing off her fellow dragons, the last thing she saw being a powerful creature watching her descend into the ocean waters.

In modern times, Mustora remained in her slumber deep beneath her sea, the energy let off by her light vents producing an endless boiling storm. After being recently awoken by a duo of traveling sailors, she traveled south in which she laid a single egg before passing away.
