Last year was bad. I'm not gonna get into it, but my artistic drive kind of fizzled out and I'm only just getting back into the flow of actually making things.

Anyway, divine inspiration struck me somewhere amid it all and I decided that Mary can bench press now. She's still just as girlypop as she's ever been, she's still trying to make it big on social media, she's just really top-heavy and her biceps are huge now. I'm not even into muscles, I just thought it'd make for a more interesting design (especially when you put her next to Joy—hunky femme and twunky butch power couple).

I sketched this out on paper and digitized it in Ibis Paint instead of Clip Studio. For a couple of computer-related reasons it was just easier for me to line and color it on my phone than to try using CSP, and for what it's worth, this actually came out nice!
