The corruption swirls around her, manifested into a thick fog that blots out her surroundings. Her eyes grow wide, a choking sensation growing in her throat, the very scales on her body almost shivering. Until the glow of the crystal around her neck suddenly bursted forth in pure energy, the magic stored inside her and the crystal reminding her she couldn't give up. She needed to be strong, to push through this storm, and she couldn't fail. So, with a strong grip inside her chest and a gnashing of her teeth, she took a determined stance and faced the swirling miasma, the glint in her eyes carrying with it the weight of her soul.


This art is a bit of an old one I forgot to upload here! It features my strong-hearted Vera, facing off against the corruption around her. I love how badass she looks, and with the added crystal around her neck, it seems like nothing can stop her.
