Ok, I found something else you do (other than hair) that I absolutely am astonished by. I love the way her kimono looks. I really need to ask you and or Kylen for some tips on how to describe Kimonos in writing because in some of my more recent stories Chaser's mother tends to wear them a lot.
I used to try to draw every little leaf and flower in a tree because...well, they're there! But, then I realized I was 1. going to drive myself to the point of madness and 2. the human eye doesn't pick out individual blossoms and such at a distance, so why try to do that in a picture in the background? Blobs with the right amount of definition and detail! Blobs I say!
Sweet. I only just got a chance to check out the Black and white version a few minutes ago (it's been a hectic week), but damn, both versions are cool. The markings on her head are pretty interesting too. Do they mean anything, or are they purely decorative? *shrugs* I'm curious.
