Writing here at least gives me more space to share my thoughts! I have to say that I really love how the combination of traditional and digital looks in the end, and getting insights into that process was really cool! The blue lighting pops so wonderfully against the greyscale - I almost forget this was a comm type with minimal colour, since it just illuminates the scene so well. I'm still floored by the sheer level of detail you put into the foliage, how great the ruins look, and how the foreground has that slight blur on it; as someone who has no confidence in drawing environments, all of this inspires me to really give it a try sometime! I just love how it's such an atmospheric, grounded scene... it captures everything I'd imagined and then some. And Xeth, of course, looks brilliant too. I was imagining blue as the only accent colour here, but I did notice you'd added some gold to her eyes, so thank you for that little detail!

I also really love the title you gave this - it feels like you reached into my mind and pulled out the exact kind of naming scheme I was planning to use for my art in the future, hah! So it was a delightful surprise to see that fit so well. :)

Not even exaggerating, being able to commission you and see one of my characters in your style has been a dream of mine for so many years, since your work has really inspired me since I was younger back in the DA days. So it's almost kind of overwhelming to see something like this, haha. And it looks fantastic. Thank you so much! <3

and yeah, I'm kind of a sucker for details, hahahaha- foliage can be so, so damn hard to paint in believably; I know I need to practice more, but with drawing it in, it becomes a bit easier, hahahaha. ALWAYS GOTTA ADD THE EYEGLOW TOO! it just adds a bit of life to the characters in a sea of greyscale and lots of limited color.

but man, I know you can do environments too! it just takes some patience and fucking around with elements; one of the joys of digital art, tbh, since a lot can be edited and altered and tweaked and man, I'd honestly love to see what you create as well!

I really gotta repay the sentiment when I'm more financially stable! I would really adore to get art from you as well- hella happy you enjoyed my stuff in the past and the present and entrusted me with your creations! it really means a lot, truly.
