Gender:Male/ intersex (unable to self fertilize do to hormone abuse in captivity)

Bio:
This enigmatic species is pretty nomadic, living in high altitude ruins and roosting in long abandoned, while rather territorial they are intelligent and capable of not only telepathic speech but in multiple languages!
They are tolerant of other species that they are not actively hunting, and will recognise allies and none threats with either docility or rambunctious curiosity.
They are carnivores and will eat anyone or anything they can overpower,they sustain their diet via a venomous proboscis tipped with a barbed tooth, it is strong enough to breach bone and military grade gear. This tooth does not extend unless eating, they will taste anything or simply blep for no apparent reason.
Observations of interaction with other species has been..complicatedly mixed.
While solitary they are sometimes poached for their chitin, blood and indestructible wings, unfortunately their rampent aggression and reproductive habits can make this difficult, leading to many failed experiments to in attempt to cull and sterilize the species.
Atlas while a victim of these neary experiments managed to escape with only minor damage however has been stripped of the ability to reproduce asexually.
Atlas himself is more on the curious inquisitive side of thr temperament spectrum, they may or may not have anxiety, amd take to stalking after individuals they deem their emotion support creatures.
He is capable of rapidly shedding 80% his coat for no apparent reason leaving mounds of hair everywhere.
They are nocturnal but will be activie a few times throughout the day, they like to roost near things they accociate with comfort ( you, your clothes, your things, anything you hold dear.
This species is NOT monogamous and will often engaged others outside of their species recreationally, however they will only attempt to 'breed' with viable candidates.
Ship requirements: any gender, humans, aliens,monsters,furries (inquir if curious)
They hate water but actually are capable of swimming (their fur holds too much air) but they will be miserable and pitiful when wet.
Requires much attention when seeking out others. Very affectionate and possesive of those around them.
Trivia: they are known to suck victims dry.
Atlas ranges from 6ft-7ft
Atlas is terrified of cats.
They floof up like cats when spooked or startled!
Their pupils only restrict during extreme dueress.
This alien species is still being studied and not yet understood well enough to be considered safe to intermingle with common species o to Their appetite and fickle temperment

For reasons, these two lines being next to each other just made me think of some mountain logger who lives alone one day finding random piles of white floof all over the place. At first he's worried but he just gets more and more confused as the days pass and nothing other than random piles of floof appear all over his land xd
I love him so muchhhh!!! I love the character designs, the little details and the little bits of info you just put in the ref sheet it just makes it so much more imaginable!~
