I have quite a DARK CHECKERED PAST with Frogger the Great Quest. I was a bold and naive ratling at the time. Plystation 2, Gameboy Advance, and Dragon Ball Z were the most important things in my world. I had some left-over birthday money from my grandparents earlier that year, so I went to see what my local video game retailer was carrying.
"Hey! This kinda looks like Jak and Daxter! but its Frogger!" I spoke aloud, Whiskers fluttering with glee. "AND... Its made by Konami!? Why, it HAS to be good!"
Anyway... I wont turn this into a review;} The game has a lot of heart, and there is legitimate merit to that. But this was perhaps the first time having a bit of Buyers Remorse!
Despite this, I still have fond memories and return to its jank bizarreness from time to time.
