Part of an AU I’m working on. I’m trying to make my OCs more exciting, and the first step in that is take one’s wholesome, sweet OC and do a complete 180 by transforming them into a rotten, ruthless pirate captain 😁

The idea is: Mars undergoes a tragic accident and has a majority of his memories wiped. He then turns to a life of piracy, becoming the ruthless captain of a pirate ship. The current members of his crew are Funtone the Flamingo, and Kalahari the fluffy doberman. At some point, he captures Grayson and forces him to become the ship's treasure mule: often having him lug around a cart full of jewels and gold. It is still being determined what caused Mars' accident, or if there is even a way to save him. However, once you catch that glimpse in his eye, I don't think he, himself wants to be saved at this point...

Feel free to mix around with his pirate accessories! Like an eyepatch or pegleg. Mars also gained a lot more weight in this AU so he is a bit bulkier and barrel-shaped. The peg leg, eyepatch, and hook can all be optional because there's a point in time before he loses some appendages.

My initial idea as to why Mars adopted a life of piracy, was because one day when he was swimming in his home lake, a parasitic creature similar to the real-life tongue louse (Cymothoa exigua) and ate its way through his eye and travels back and forth to his brain by the socket. While it would take months for Mars to recover, the louse hid in his body and slowly began to affect his mental state of mind and give him a more aggressive temper.
