Spirit Unleashed | Anthro Kitsune TFTG
Fun fact, this is somewhat of a reboot of a TF/TF Series I made during my first year of TFs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some time ago, there was an anthropomorphic kitsune named Charlotte who lived in a village whose name and location has long since been lost time.
Charlotte was made fun of relentlessly for most of her life due to her perceived deformity. ‘Foxes don’t have nine tails!’ Her peers would jeer. ‘Who KNOWS what you are!” They laughed.
She struggled to survive for most of her time living at that village, resorting to stealing food from others behind their backs and sleeping underneath moth-eaten canvases at night.
But things would all turn around for the Nine-Tailed-Fox one day…
On that fateful day, she had decided to climb a tall, tall tree to pass the time. Sadly though, Charlotte ended up losing her footing while scaling a branch towards the top and was sent careening down towards the ground.
Time slowed down all around the girl in that moment. Her entire, miserable life flashed before her eyes. A horrifying fact crossed Charlotte’s mind…the last thing that she would ever think of were those awful villagers laughing and making fun of her…Oh how Charlotte wished for a chance to make them all P A Y. How she wished for a way to avert her incoming death…
In the moments just before Charlotte hit the ground she imagined a very vivid image. She imagined herself turning into a brilliant blue bird and flying far into the sky, away from the dirt that would spell her doom.
And then something astounding began to happen.
In an instant, Charlotte’s tails spread out like a plume of rosy stardust, and her tails glowed a bright red. In the next second, Charlotte’s wish had come true! A kitsune no longer, she had become a blue bird!
The instincts of flight came to her immediately, and she steered herself away from the ground and onto a low-hanging branch.
Charlotte stared at herself in amazement…she had transformed herself! She shapeshifted! Charlotte wondered just how long she’d had this power…
She then decided to test something. Charlotte focused extremely hard on her previous form: An anthropomorphic kitsune with Rose-Colored, Black-Tinted fur.
And just as before, Charlotte’s tail feathers fanned out, glowed red…and in a flash of light Charlotte felt not talons, but paws gripping the branch below her. Her previous form was restored!
An immense feeling of joy and excitement took over the vulpine girl’s form…and then a more sinister thought crossed her mind.
What if she could use this power on other critters? Just how powerful could she become? Could she affect others’ minds?
A wicked smile crossed the vixen’s snout as she ran off to her village, laughing all the way.
As the day went by, Charlotte terrorized the village to her heart’s content. She turned those who had mocked her into forms they hated, forced them to transform at an agonizing, slow pace, some of them were even forced to change genders.
Charlotte had immediately gone mad with power. After the whole village had changed, Charlotte had another thought.
“Why should I stop at just their bodies?” She wondered. “I can feel my powers getting stronger and stronger by the second…they are all twisted into forms not meant for them…but I think they and I deserve something more. I believe they need a serious attitude adjustment!”
Working her magic once again, Charlotte’s essence wormed its way into the brains of her victims, warping their very minds until those who had made fun of Charlotte now got down on their knees to worship her as their goddess.
Charlotte laughed, now at the highest peak in her village’s hierarchy. The coming days saw it converted into a cultish compound dedicated to Lady Charlotte.
A few years passed. Charlotte continued to grow her power and her following, venturing into other villages from time to time to forcibly transform and convert others into her coven. Eventually, the wizards of neighboring villages had finally had enough, and in the dead of a snowy winter night…launched a raid on Charlotte’s compound.
They easily got through Charlotte’s untrained following, reverting them back to their previous forms and undoing all of the brainwashing that had been inflicted on them.
As for Charlotte herself…she was still quite young and undisciplined, and as such was quickly overwhelmed by the wizards.
As punishment for her evil deeds, the wizards sealed Charlotte’s soul into a fox mask made of paper, sealing her magic inside of it as well…then, with the sunrise on the horizon, they cast the mask out into the wind to be carried far, far away…
And on the winds the mask would stay, going through all known types of weather and temperature, yet never breaking. It would never break as long as a living soul was still inside of it.
Hundreds upon hundred of years passed all around Charlotte. After a while, her spirit has gone completely dormant, trapped in an everlasting sleep…And one day, the mask that Charlotte was contained in found itself on top of the roof of an apartment building…where it would be found by the building’s maintenance man; a burly man named Lionell.
“Mm…what’s this, now?” Lionell mumbled, lifting down and picking up the mask in his calloused hands.
It was very intact somehow, and very well crafted. Lionell wasn’t one for artsy stuff, but he could tell that whoever made it put a lot of effort into it.
“Better chuck it into the lost and found…whoever made it oughta come get it soon.”
Lionell’s brain told his body to turn around and head for the stairs downwards…but his body didn’t obey. And now, Lionell was beginning to think very odd thoughts. Thoughts so odd it was like someone or something else was inside his head, planting very, very compelling thoughts.
Don the mask. Trying it on for just a small moment can’t hurt, right?
Clenching his teeth momentarily, Lionell succumbed to the thoughts and donned the mask.
The first thing that Lionell noticed was that the mask fit his face almost perfectly. It was so odd, but oddly comfortable.
And that was all it took. The mask started to glow red as the soul inside fully awakened.
Lionell’s eyes widened. “Oh hell no! What the f-?!” The man’s hands instantly jumped towards the mask, aiming to tear it off. As Lionell yanked on the snout of the mask, he discovered that it…hurt?
“Egh-! What the hell?! Why won’t it come off?!” He yelled as he tried even harder to pull it off. With each yank, the mask resisted more and more. In fact, it was quickly turning into something more than a mask.
The paper began fusing with Lionell’s face, bones forming beneath the skin of the mask and connecting with Lionell’s own face bones. Muscle started to form over the bone, and the paper coating of the mask started to soften and moisturize as it became skin. In merely a few seconds, the mask had seamlessly fused with Lionell’s face. The molecules of Lionell’s human nose travelled through his new snout and arrived at the end, forming into a moist, black, vulpine nose. The new gumspace created by Lionell’s new snout was quickly filled in by respectable rows of sharp teeth.
Lionell’s eyes were as wide as dinner plates as he traced his shaking hands along his new snout.
“No way this is real…I gotta be dreaming somehow…”
“Ohohoho, oh no my dear. You’ll find that this is very real.” A feminine voice rang inside of Lionell’s head.
“What the fuck?! What’s going on?! Who or what the hell are you?!”
“My name is Charlotte, human. I must thank you, in donning my prison, you’ve awakened my spirit once again! And with your body in my possession, I shall reign supreme once again!” Charlotte giggled.
“The hell?! No the- this is not happening! H-h-HHHH…HHHH…!” Lionell tried to call out for help, but his throat seized. He tried to run, but his legs wouldn’t move. He tried to pull at his snout again, but his arms wouldn’t obey.
“Trying to resist me, hm? Well I’m afraid that won’t do much. I’m already gaining control, ahaha!”
“N-NO!” Lionell cried out as his hair began to twitch, growing thicker, clumpier, fluffier. It started to lose its wizened grey color in favor of a pretty, pinkish-red with a black tint. As his human hair transitioned into the fur of a fox, his skin started to tingle all over. Before long, strands of fur started to sprout forth from his every pore, and Lionell’s clothes became more and more stuffy and uncomfortable as fluff packed onto his body.
“St-Stop this! Y-You can’t have my body!” Lionell had the idea to try and punch himself in the head to try and knock the spirit out of his body…but alas, his fists stopped just inches before his head.
And while Lionell was pondering what to do to stop the rapid takeover of his body, his fingernails turned a brownish-black before growing a few inches. The tips then edged out into a sharp, cone-like shape, fully completing their transition into claws.
Lionell’s feet wouldn’t be spared either. A startling tremor shot through the man’s lower half, causing him to almost fall over. Luckily, Lionell managed to hoist himself up on a nearby wall.
Lionell ended up standing on his toes in order to keep himself standing, which allowed the next change to take place unimpeded. On each foot, one of his toes shrank away into the rest of his feet, and his remaining ones started to thicken and grow, all the while merging with the forward-facing soles. Lionel’s heels would rearrange to be permanently lifted off the ground, and the arch of his foot started to grow to support the shift in weight.
Lionell’s footwear was rapidly tightening against his developing paws. Lionell could barely bring himself to move a singular toe because his appendages were so constricted, and sadly for him it wouldn’t be getting much better.
The underside of Lionell’s paws as well as his toes started to burn as the flesh began swelling and growing rough, squishy pads. The extra leverage allowed Lionell’s paws to shred through his socks, and to be further constricted by the tough leather of his work shoes.
Lionell let out a stifled cry of pain as he finally did fall over, getting onto his hands and knees as he tried his absolute hardest to resist the transformation.
“Hnnngrh! Stop it! Stop it damn it! Wh-What’d I ever do to you-?!” Lionell grunted, feeling the seams of his soles start to snap away.
“Oh dear, you did nothing to me. You were simply at the wrong place at the wrong time.” Charlotte responded.
A wave of pain shot through Lionell’s spine in the next moment, catching him off guard and causing him to let out a cry of anguish (which his hands unwillingly muffled). Slowly, painfully, a long appendage started to grow out of the base of Lionell’s spine. The appendage quickly started to push against the seat of the man’s pants, but Lionell managed to nudge the waistband down enough for the appendage to freely snake out before it could rip through the pants.
Once it was fully formed, it began to sprout a bushy coat of fur. Primarily, it was the same color as the rest of Lionell’s body, but at the tip it transitioned into an ebony black. It didn’t end there, though, as once the tail was fully formed, it began to split at the base, forming into two whole tails!
And then it happened again…and again…and again…and again until Lionell had grown nine tails in total, all swishing and twitching like clouds in a tempest.
Lionell’s attention was then split between the nerves settling into the tails, and his paws.
Multiple cracks and snaps filled the air as the integrity of Lionell’s shoes started to fail. With a mighty POP!, the fronts of Lionell’s shoes burst open, allowing the full length of his paws to stretch out, even reaching past the soles.
“H-Holy fuck…” Lionell whimpered as he flexed his toes. Lionell sat in stunned silence and watched his paws continue to grow, causing his shoelaces to snap away, and the leather of his shoes to peel and flop away. Soon enough, Lionell would be left totally bare-pawed.
Lionell wanted to just sit there and process what had happened to him…but Charlotte had other ideas.
Lionell suddenly lost feeling in his arms and legs, any sensation or feeling dissolved into a feeling like static. Then, his body began to move against his will, standing straight up in a proud, model-like position.
“A-Aaaah! I didn’t want to do that!” Lionell yelped as he felt himself lose more and more control of himself.
“Ohohoho…my, my. You look wonderful as a fox, my dear.” Lionell felt his hips swing side to side, swinging ‘his’ tail along with them.
“When I get strong enough to get you a new body, I’ll make sure you end up as a fox again! Aha…but now it’s time for me to come forth.”
The next words would come right out of Lionell’s mouth, in his own voice: “Hope you enjoyed having control, I shall be taking it from here.” Lionell tried to cover his mouth…but he was unable to, for those hands didn’t belong to him anymore.
What was once Lionell’s body began to transform even further. Starting with his face, his sharp, masculine features started to soften. The manly edges were done away with in favor of feminine softness.
Next, the lump in Lionell’s throat vanished entirely, and his voice started to grow higher and softer.
More drastic changed were still to come. Lionell’s arms, which were like steel pipes in their musculature and size, began to contract and burn as the muscle mass ebbed away. His wide, worker’s hands shrunk and the fingers deflated, becoming elegant and effeminate.
Lionell’s broad back and chest compressed significantly, losing almost all of its broadness. In the process, his midsection started to produce more fat mass. Not enough to make him overweight, but just enough to erase his rugged abs and leave him with a feminine belly.
Lionell’s legs went through similar changes as his arms, though with the added bonus of losing several inches of height in the process, as well as his manhood shrinking away into his body and vanishing entirely.
Finally, Lionell’s pectoral muscles swelled, forming into a large set of breasts. With that, it was no longer Lionell’s body…now, it belonged to Charlotte. The devious trickster had returned.
As for Lionell, his soul was forced right out of what was once his body, and it manifested as a blue wisp of flame.
If Lionell still had eyes, they would’ve widened right about now.
“WH-WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO ME?!” Lionell managed to shout despite not having a mouth.
Charlotte snickered a bit, then held Lionell’s soul in one of her hands.
“Simple, I have borrowed your body for the foreseeable future. Fear not, when I get the hang of my magic again, I shall insert you into a new body. Then, you’ll become a follower of mine, just like the rest of the people living in this…very tall village.” She explained.
Lionell immediately protested. “N-No! Hell no! I won’t do any of that crap! I want my body back, damn it!”
“Yes yes, whatever you say. Now, rest up. You’ll need it for getting used to your future body. Plus, I don’t want to hear your complaining.” Charlotte pressed her finger against the (oddly temperate) ball of fire…and Lionell found himself drifting off to sleep before he could even protest.
“…I am very glad that Souls can’t snore…or this would be even more annoying.” Charlotte remarked, looking down at the ill-fitting clothes that were draped across her body. “Eugh…I need to find some better clothing before I restart my regime.”
Charlotte looked up again, her eyes scanning the vast cityscape before her…she’d also have to learn all the ins and outs of the new, modern world she’d found herself in. She’d also need to learn how to transform clothing if she wanted to have any sort of decency out here.
So much to learn…but Charlotte knew she’d have plenty of time to learn all she needed in preparation for the future! Maybe she’d even learn how to travel to other universes! Charlotte couldn’t help but laugh at the thought.
I, for one, welcome our kitsune overlord, and I don't want to be a hermaphroditic four-armed bassarisk taur; in fact, I'd hate to be one! That would be the worst form I could possibly have! It would suck so bad to lose my humanity to become such a horrid creature capable of creating offspring by itself, with the contradiction of being on all fours and being able to use its hands! Simply terrible, I tell you! Is it working?
