I have to fave this one for two reasons... one, the oddity of the story, which was well written, conveyed and enjoyed.

The other - because the very first story I ever wrote was similar yet different. It contained a room which was being shown to a new comer by an angel. I was so proud of it I sent it in to a magazine - to which I was sent a small note explaining they did not accept partials. I remember being angry.

I think that was it... it was a very small piece that went in a circle and in actuality only really meant somethig in my mind. I don't blame them at all.

I think reincarnation as various animals is a theme visited by many writers; while that's not precisely the same thing, I'm not sure that this was something that could only come from a furry writer. But I did like the idea of it a bit more than some folks might.

I'm curious about what your brother (and even his girlfriend's) impression might be.

This reminds me of romantic writings of Poe, and for some reason, the style of the American Gothic painting and The Persistence of Memory painting.

Do you have other forms in your dreams? I've never actually had that happen (that I remember).

I rarely, if ever, remember my dreams, and the last one I can remember vaguely some several months ago was odd yet strangely enlightening. Animals tend to play an important roll in the few scattered instances I can recall a dream throughout my life and once there were anthropomorphic characters.

I wonder if people would get behind a "Transformation Zone" television show...
