well you did awesome with it... i dont think its hard... charcoal is just a really big and a really sensitive pencil that is used to draw on large format of papers... yknow that XDDDD

thanks. i think it's the large format that throws me off. guess i'm too used to sketchbooks.

you should try bigger formats... when ou loosen up a bit it can be fun :) i was drawing human studies for a year... i got used to the charcoal after 3 months lol

also it depends which kind you use and stuff

Eew charcoal. Not homogenous enough. flaky, crumbly, dirty, hate it. black drypastel does betetr.
