After fading into obscurity, the Thunder returned in 2064 with bold marketing like “Mini-nuke power in your pocket.” Though sales were low at first, wartime paranoia made it a cult favorite. It later saw military contracts, experimental variants, and even a carbine model.
Thanoid Action survived the Great War, rebuilding with ghouls, Scavengers, and die-hards, continuing to forge Thunders well into the 2280s.
Yes, this beast is real—based on the Triple Action Thunder, one of the few true .50 BMG handguns ever made.

A strange looking pistol that can almost be described as a extremely compact sniper rifle the weapon itself has a giant muzzle brake a breech loaded mechanism and the word thanoid action LLC printed both sides of the weapon, despite its size If one opens the breach hatch on the weapon to access the chamber you might realize that the size is a little bit too big for any regular pistol, ammunition, or heck even even bigger than your average rifle ammunition like .308 or 5.56mm and while it is a little bit too long to fit 12 gauge, which only leaves the well dreaded 50 BMG which is correct so the real question is how did we get here and why? The early documentation on this weapons development really unknown, but what is known is that the weapon was developed by Thanoid action llc though the timeline of this weapon is quite unknown. It is what it is documented, however, is that it appeared at Shot show sometime around 2004 and well when it was first shown, it blew some people away on the sheer audacity of the weapon despite most skeptics, thinking that this will destroy the users rest this doesn’t seem to be the case. Thanks to well what Thanoid action called there “nitrogen recoil controller system” which and people who got their hands on the weapon around the time and actually fired it. Do you wish you had the power of a cannon in your hand well don’t worry the thanoid action thunder the true, and only hand cannon on the market” and well either way the marketing did work and it’s all sales and places like commonwealth, the Mojave, Utah, iowa and maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, Florida, New York, London, Japan, and Texas. Well things to the weapons success, and it being sold it was only a matter of time before it showed up next on a catalog next to a Tranq gun which well let’s say, was a interesting surprise when someone at westtek purchased the thanoid action thunder instead of Tranq gun and not to mention the thanoid action thunder came with ammunition and plus it was a little bit more expensive than well. Let’s just say this westtek employee bought the Thanoid action thunder thinking it was well a tranquilizer anyways, it did whatever the case is the weapon did go into storage sometime later before well let’s just say when there’s FEV specimens escaped they managed to track it down and they were they were going to use the Tranq gun to recapture the creature, but instead, they accidentally took the Thanoid action thunder which it is not know why they didn’t realize that what they grab didn’t come with the regular standard Tranq gun ammo but whatever the case is, it was used on the creature and let’s just say the was not able to be recaptured due to what they call complications and well it also being way too late for them to realize they didn’t It wasn’t a tranquilizer It was a pistol that fired anti-material rounds despite well them losing the specimen they they’re being a chance of being fired. One of the managers on the project still quite pleased with the results. In fact, he decided to well give this information to some of his higher-ups, which then led to a surprise military contract from Thanoid action thunder, which they obviously took because hey more funding and people who worked with weapons within the military could help us expand our horizons so well they did take the contract and things to this contract. They were able to make more weapons an experiment with different Proto types which then this gave birth to projects like project hybrid which was a small little experiment to see if they could somehow chamber the Thanoid action thunder, and 12 gauge, because they just wanted to try something different in new and well let’s just say they eventually came out with a few working Prototypes which they showed off at shot show 2074 as well as a more secretive project called project Sunburst which and will also things to anchorage in the deployment of t-45 the weapon. In fact, they persisted and despite them losing like most of their market this didn’t mean they quit they actually persisted and it wasn’t long before they just went back to making their pride and the thanoid action thunder llc well they decided at this point to employ prewar ghouls who worked on other weapon projects or wastelanders that wanted contribute to something or heck even scavengers that wanted to help gather materials for Thanoid action llc either way they still persisted through everything and the thunder just kept rolling in both a literal and figurative sense and well it is to say that this company did survive a lot of stuff like for example they were able to survive through the reign of the master, the rise and downfall of the west coasts enclave which did try to contract, Thanoid action llc but word quickly denied the contract despite how much the enclave was willing to pay he got to the point where the enclave tried to and well it wasn’t long before the enclave got a little mad and as a last resort the enclave brought frank horrigan to thanoid actions llc doorstep which then ended in the companies ceo show themselves which for whatever reason caused frank horrigan and his army to retreat peacefully it is not known what the CEO said or did too cause the enclave forces to straight up retreat from their headquarters but it is interesting anyways as the years went thanoid action kept making weapons and other stuff for waste landers, which they saw as their primary market at this point, but thanks to the rise of the NCR decided to do the same as a sort of desperate attempt to somehow get supplies or some sort of edge towards Caesars legion during the battle of Hoover dam and well the NCR were shocked that thanoid action excepted with a hand written note as well stating that “me John thanoid the CEO and founder of thanoid action llc will happily support the NCR with the battle of Hoover dam despite us having major conflicts with other groups in the wasteland doesn’t mean we won’t support those who fight for a better future it” and well thanks to the NCR’s contract thanoid action decided to make a some new parts for the thunder 200 some years after it’s a launch witch came with the introduction of the foregrip and afterwards thanoid action llc still kept running afterwards after all that and well there’s still around in 2287 which also around the time the Institute in the commonwealth decided to experiment with some weapons, and while they made a special version of the Thanoid action thunder, which they just called the thunder that uses special technology to create a Tesla like effect and yeah, that is the legacy of thanoid action llc and the thanoid action thunder anyways yeah that’s it, so are you guys I am finally finished with this model. It took me a week to make. I know I haven’t uploaded anything in the while I just do to me I don’t know just being a little bit lazy but anyways yeah I hope you guys enjoy the model and if you guys are curious on this gun actually exist.
