Yup... so this was pretty much me all day. Minus the last part but that's mostly only because I was at work.
I was trying to get this book before my birthday back in May... but then I saw this special edition box set thing and it didn't cost that much extra, so I thought I'd get that instead. I didn't realize till a bit later during the check-out it was for a pre-order... but it didn't seem like too long so I figured, ahh, what the hell, I can wait that long.
Course I think I initially tricked myself into thinking it came out June 17th... a few days after Duke Nukem Forever, and then I'd have it before Anthrocon, but that wasn't quite right. Xp But hey, I'd have probably not gotten to play at AC anyways, so whatever... I just want the book and all the neat stuff it comes with. So July 17th isn't that much further off and then I can really break into it and start getting down to the business of fleshing out Terith like I wanted to...
I mention this morning to my mom that I'm expecting a package either today or tomorrow, and she mentions we needed to take a look at an email later because she remembered something from Amazon about a pre-order being pushed back to sometime in Janurary... and I'm just like, that can't be right. So I look it up as soon as I get into work and... sure enough, Amazon's release date is showing the 10th of fucking Janurary 2012. -.-;; I wanted to throw a fit in the middle of our damned office building...
I mean... this is Terith related... it's important to me. So it's upsetting...
It's not as bad as I thought though. I dug around forever, but I found word from the series creator that when Amazon doesn't receive a product on time, they push it back by some arbitrary amount of time. So it's not really going to be that long... but it's still a delay. I found one place saying it would be out by August 30th... which isn't too bad I guess, but it's still another month and a half. -.-;
First world problems... I know. Fuck off.
I'm debating just getting the book by itself already... maybe I can give/sell it to someone later when I get the other one.

Looks like the release is set for August! I knew a while ago the sets had been manufactured, but still needed to be packed and then shipped from Korea where they are manufactured (which can take up to 2 months!) So August is what Archaia is saying, we will go with that!

I think it happened to me once when the Megaman Manga [the overall 2nd one...gah they mix those up.] came out...it ran out and said it would be two months or later till I would get one...it also did NOT say that it did NOT take the money out to pay for it...so overall I still dont have that copy because I didnt pay for it when i would have finally gotten it and I keep forgetting to re-order it.
