. . . I can dream, can’t I?
Addenda: On the front cover is the Chamber of the Sun; on the back cover is the Chamber of the Moon. They are entirely from my own imagination, not from any episode, but they seem logical in context.
Apparently, another group of folks began working on a project under the same title back in May. I was unaware of that when I came up with the title independently. There’s no connection between the two.

Maybe so! The concept I had in mind was that it would be a sort of parallel project, containing stories that couldn’t or shouldn’t be told in a half-hour television format, but fit the spirit of the series. I figured it could be a teens-and-older cut-off, which would allow the writing to be a little more forthright without being too adult. That’s a fine balancing act, but there’s a whole category in Europe called “cadet books”, slotted between what US publishers call “juvenile” and “young adult”, that fits the bill exactly.
Heh! Yes, I think it would be wonderful.
As for the pony icon, check out the Pony Creator, which is what I used!

That’s one possibility, and the back-cover squib is written around that idea. The other possibility is a collection of canonical works, whether stories and art by officially deputized creators, fan works given official blessing, or both.
I suspect there could be interest in the former as a fan project, but the latter strikes me as unlikely, however wonderful it would be to see.
Not that I’m volunteering for the job of editor. The very idea of trying to edit a bunch of fan writers is enough to cause a headache. On the other hand, it would be an excellent first-cut litmus test!
Thanks very much for the compliment, too. I did my very best to make it as lovely and elegant as I could—something an adult would be perfectly happy to carry around in public.
