Mold is nerdy, studious, anxious, ill-tempered and loyal. He can be selfish, cowardly, and inconsiderate sometimes, but he loves his sister and friends dearly and will do anything for them. Mold works for an anti-war rebellion group (called Dusk) run by his sister, Moonbeam. His primary role in the group is as it's cartographer, he spends long periods of time mapping their territory and foreign lands for reference materials. When he isn't creating multiple detailed maps, he is serving whatever other role needs to be filled at Dusk.

Mold is very protective of his sister Moonbeam, and loves their parents. Mold spent his early childhood years being used for his future sight ability - his power, while limited and unreliable, allowed whichever side of the war possessed him to foresee if their plans would work. Mold was born to one side of the war, was captured by the other, and eventually managed to run away and flee. This is when he was found by Moonbeam's parents who took him in and raised him as their own. They taught Mold how to keep his power under control, and how to have a healthier relationship with it as well. Mold still has trauma around the use of his power and because his feelings can skew the results, he now only reserves his future sight for times of great need and limits how much he uses it.


Other fun little facts about Mold:

- Mold maintains and contributes to the library at Dusk, alongside his coworker and friend Peacock. He takes great pride in this!

- Mold's adoptive mother taught him cartography, his adoptive father taught him how to control his facult. Both taught him that he is worthy of love and that he is, in fact, loved by them. And from Moonbeam, he's learning how to love someone else.

- Mold has multiple piercings and body mods from his teen years when he was rebellious and angry. He felt modding himself made him appear more scary, and he got a thrill from the challenge of overcoming the pain. Mold still loves his mods but hasn't gotten any new ones in many years.

- Mold has achondroplasia (a type of dwarfism). Meaning his legs, tail and wings are smaller than the average adult dragon of his species. His head & torso are both average sized. It's not mentioned on his sheet, but he often wears leg braces for support.
