"What? Pay!? But you thought me everything I knew back then for free!"

"Yeah. Well, I changed my mind, no more freebies kid. If you want further lessons, you better start coughing up. I mean... I am the best, and... you wanna learn from the best now? don't cha?"


Spyro was that kid who basically had it all. A radical skater boy who was well off, highly popular at school, and living the high life. With little worries, Spyro did well in class and had time atop of that to spare for his many hobbies, with his talents and skills he obtained quite the following, other dragons of his age rushed to admire the purple dragon and strived to be like him, especially a young red dragon by the name of Flame, who considered himself to be Spyro's biggest fan.

Although such pride and admiration would ultimately get to anyone, and soon, the once rather nice and excitable child, turned to a cocky punk who paid no mind to others around him. Spyro became a bully, mocking anyone who couldn't live up to him, used his followers to get him whatever he wanted, and shoves anyone he believes aren't worthy of his time out of his way. For why should you care when you're way above it all?

One last thing... for years, Spyro was considered the greatest skater of not just the Artisan lands, but of the dragon realms themselves! But one faithful day, a poorly executed skateboarding trick would send the once proud purple dragon crashing back down to earth...

So yeah! I redesigned my version of Spyro from SBH, I originally went with a more custom design, but after some consideration, I'd figured to just go with Reignited's look. Since it's already perfect. The skateboard he's holding in this picture is his old one, and the one he would eventually break at the start of the story (along with a whole bunch of other body parts...)
