Description:

Lilac is a Hybrid snake with relatively unknown heritage. Although, through blood tests she appears to share a lot of genetics with ball python and Banded Krait nagas. However, even with this knowledge, and the rarity of naga's in general, Lilac's parentage remains a mystery as she was adopted as an egg.

Lilac has grown to an enormous size, far larger than most Nagas. Because of this, she finds it really hard to interact with many people, places, or animals since none of them are made to accommodate her size and/or weight.

She personally dislikes her size, and is in an ever-ongoing battle with her body, as she continues to grow, even after being placed on a diet. Regardless of how much food she eats, she grows just over 5 feet and gains about one metric ton of mass in bone and muscle per year.

Lilac also works at the local community college as a teacher for both Calculus and Pre-Calculus Trigonometry in the auditorium(due to her size). She also does tutoring at the school or her home, because she is unable to visit or enter most people's homes.

Habits:

- When she's idle or stationary for more than a moment she tends to sit on her tail directly behind her. Sitting like this her head is approximately 7'3" off the ground(if she has recently eaten, she will stand upright).
- When relaxing, she often coils up and uses her body as a bed.
- Fangs are retractable at will. She likes to keep them exposed, but retracts them when she's near others.
- If there are pillars or similar sturdy structures near by, she tends to wrap around them at least once.

Personality/Quick info:

- Absolutely LOVES to travel! (Her size and weight prevents her from riding in any kinds of pedestrian vehicle, so she hardly gets to do any)
- Always hungry, even after eating most times(susceptible to the descriptor "hangry").
- Scares animals just by being near them, so she tries to avoid them.
- If she gets extremely excited, sad or angry her fangs(if they're exposed) will begin to drip venom very slowly.
- Loves mathematics and she is a Calculus tutor. She teaches calculus I/II, and Pre-calculus Trigonometry.
- Has chronic headaches because she doesn't use her venom intentionally. By not using her venom, her venom glands get over swollen and cause her pain (she gets her venom glands milked at the doctors/nurses office 2x a week and can fill a 16oz beaker in a single session).
- Avoids looking at LCD screens because her vision is naturally polarized and LCD screens give her a headache.

Appearance:

This isn't really that important! I'm not a stickler for exactness, I just like going into fine details! Parts of her appearance change or may seem distorted at times(it's a little hard to visualize her length depending on the scene)

Head:

- Lilac's head has no markings and is colored with her body's primary yellowish color
- She has 2 long ears that end in a point(they can move slightly, but not by much)
- Behind her ears on the back of her head are "ear fins", these "fins" are very long, but also thin, they can expand and contract, raise and lower, and give her exceptional hearing. They aid in facial expression and change positions based on emotional state, but she can voluntarily control them as well.
- Above her eyes on the top of her head, and on the side of her lower jaw she has small fleshy fins that stick out, these are also sensory organs.
- Her fangs can be either extended or retracted


Eyes:

- Her eyes are a bright yellow-green
- She has almost completely black schlera
- Her bottom eyelashes are black, but her eyelids and upper eyelashes are dark purple
- She also has slit pupils


Body:

- Has sharp claws on her hands which can be dulled or sharpened by filing.
- Lilac has 3 colors that persist through her entire body, her primary yellowish color, her secondary dark grey bands, and her off-white underbelly.
- Her secondary color begins at her neck but the bands do not extend onto her arms.
- Her dark colored bands continue until about 5 feet from the tip of her tail.

Underbelly:

- Her underbelly reaches from the underside of her jaw, down her neck, around her chest, and all the way down the length of her body until the tip of her tail.
- Lilac's underbelly is also "slatted" meaning it is cut into scales, or sections
- Despite her underbelly being cut into slats, it has the texture of smooth pearl, and is very soft like skin throughout her body
