And I used to fail at them too. Dx
So I practiced a lot with 3/4 view, and got better at drawing various characters with a fuller and fuller view.
I still have problems with straight-on view (in non-chibi styles, anyway), but I'm working at it. :3
Practice really is the thing that helps improve nearly any skill.
