Here is another pixel art enhancement progression/sequence of Gio, with the (smallest) lowest resolution version on the left (1x, 14x21) and the (largest) highest resolution version (8x, 112x168) on the right, to show my process of "rendering" Gio. The sequential pixel art drawings of Gio are all size matched to the (largest) highest resolution drawing on the right (112x168 pixels), with the only difference between each drawing being the size of the "pixels", which get smaller as the resolution increases. As the pixel count/resolution increases, Gio becomes less pixelated and more detailed (definitely not realistic, though). As a bonus, I matched the resolution of the transition arrows (in light green) to that of Gio in the frame before it to emphasize the difference between the resolution enhancements. The end result is a 2D low-poly render, created from the lowest resolution (smallest) pixel art on the far left. Hard to believe, isn't it?
As usual, this was drawn in the Windows XP version of Microsoft Paint, with the Windows 11 version only used for the screen blur effect. I saved it as a GIF file to "damage" the picture to make it harder for AI (Algorithmic Imitator) scrapers/miners/scouts/bots to copy my pixel art. It appears normal from afar but when viewed up close, looks like a low-quality newspaper print or old color film photograph. Deliberately blurring the image and then saving it as a GIF file adds two layers of protection from Algorithmic Imitators (AI) by "damaging" the input (prompt, in this case, an image), thereby lowering the quality of any "art" generated with it.
This picture is at 75% Luminescense with a tint of 32 Red, 8 Green - which is a dark shade of brown.
