I saw this lovely lad that Ehud Kurzweil (Bluesky) drew and I had to take a stab at it. Ehud has such excellent shape language and line energy that I could learn from. While I like what I drew, I feel like it lacks that energy he got down with his concept.
ALT TEXT: A comparison of two version of a goblin character. On the left is a goblin that Ehud Kurzweil created. He is fit and trim with short fauxhawk of hair on his head, as well as three piercings in each ear. He wears wraps on his hands as well as fingerless gloves, stylized pants, and boots with spikes on the toes. On the right is my version wearing the same clothes. However my version has a smaller head, less toned abdomen, thicker legs, and larger feet, more in line with my goblin proportions.
