I wonder if Scootaloo can fly. It would be kind of weird if pegasus fillies can't fly because their main city of Cloudsdale is made up of blocks of clouds that often aren't connected to each other, and Fluttershy mentioned her "first time seeing the surface" suggesting she lived up there all of her young life...

Unless Scootaloo was born to pegasi who were on the surface and never went to Cloudsdale.

Scootaloo, like all young pegasus foals, cannot fly yet. That's why they have flight camp when they're older - to learn how to fly.

There are all sorts of theories when it comes to young pegasai and flight. Some suggest that they can walk on clouds from birth but cannot fly, so they can live in Cloudsdale but require a lift over any areas of open air.

It would appear Scootaloo can't fly from what we seen, but she may be a "late bloomer" as Dash could fly quite well at a similar age. I am also guess Scoot was born in or near Ponyville, it could be that one of her parents is not a pegasus. All of this is speculation for Scoot (except the no fly part), and maybe they'll answer some of these in season two.

yeah now that you mention it Scootaloo is the one we know the least about, the other 2 are siblings of the main cast (which in itself is a mystery because we never see any parents) but for all we know Scootaloo could be a street urchin! Street urchins being very clean and well fed in the perfect world of magical ponies and sunshine we call Equestria...

I suspect parents may be introduced slowly through the series as we seen them now for two of the six main cast. Of course they are supposed to be young adults (the main cast) so none of them likely live with the folks.

I love the CMC they are all so adorable. and as for the heart come on man its easy to tell why she is in love. you drew her. sweetie would be in love too but yeah she is kinda in fear for her life at the moment. you need to do more man pleeeeeeeeeaaaassseeeeee. they are so under appricated.

Yeah, I am pretty partial to them as well. I know they weren't well liked in the beginning but it seems the fandom has warmed up to them somewhat over the months. As for the heart, I left that open to interpretation, it could be that Scoot loves Sweetie, or just loves to spend time with her, or loves to ride fast, or loves to show off...

yeah the heart can mean many things for me it be love but not the kind a lot of folks think. more of like you said spending time with sweetie (and her friends). maybe the CMC will get more love in season 2, luna too. I only remember her from ep 2 briefly. (kinda like trixie a one show pony)

It's interesting that Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle were friends before they befriended Applebloom. You'd think she was the glue that keeps the two together, but nope.

I suspect Sweetie Belle is the "voice of reason" among the three of them and without her Applebloom and Scootaloo would be doing even more insane stunts.

It's a good fit, though Applebloom is pretty Id-ish. "The Cutie Pox" incident was pure Id. And pretty sad, actually. She BETRAYED Zecora's trust, after Zecora had done something nice for her, for free. Even so, I loved the episode because it was a wonderfully shippy Zecora/Applebloom demonstration, like "Green is not your color" for Flarity, "Fall weather friends" for Appledash, and "Feeling Pinkie Keen" for TwiPie.

We still need a Scootabelle episode.

Yeah there is all sorts of goofy slag within FiM fandom: Plot = Butt, Wingboner is a euphemism for erection, clop can mean clap, but often its used for masturbation, hence "clopfic" for any adult pony fanfic.

As for this picture, it wasn't meant to be "hawt" or sexy in any way, it was meant to be ridiculously cute and G rated, given that this is the CMC. The heart, well that I left for open interpretation and was draw in as sort of a joke for all the ship fics as well.
