This is a portrait I am making of Rachel Mosley, a pawn that I had in Rimworld. She was an Urbworld Urchin who became an Intelligence Agent, escaping her abusive mother in the hyper-cityscape of her urbworld and being a true force. In the colony that I played, she is/was a Hindu that follows Transhumanism, the belief that human progress means merging with technology.
Anywho, she became a sanguophage ("blood-eater," a vampire) through forcing implantation of xenogenes via a crashed sanguophage ship (long story). She became a total boss, and I love her so much ugh--
Anyway, she is a vampire lesbian boss melee master who is hacking into a terminal for info on an artifact of her faith, Uplifted Purushartha.
I don't remember the specifics of what relic I was chasing, but the "ancient terminal" quest makes you visit a "worshipful village" that is surrounding an ancient terminal. They will let you in under the guise of prayer and worship, but actually hacking the computer makes them hostile. Rachel was my main Intellectual, so she was a total hacker. She is also good with a sword. I will let you piece together the rest.

If you are curious about the specifics of what I wrote here, please be aware that Mandarin and Japanese are unknown to me, so I do apologize for the lazy translations. The software on the computer is a custom-written program I imagined in Mandarin for display of tracking the network of any whereabouts of the relic. The Japanese is an ofuda, a Japanese Shinto or Buddhist talisman (usually paper). The text reads "Bless this machine."
Rimworld is so cool in how it approaches differences in techlevel and culture. I hope that this piece is coherent. :^)
