Crude Revolver Vs Pipe Revolver
"The invention of the firearm revolutionized warfare, however it's possible this was once a perfectly good pistol, but the bombs and use in the wasteland has broken this once proud gem into scrap, refurbished and usable but not the best in a long-winded fire fight, it will maybe keep you alive, can be repaired with pipe revolvers, .32 revolvers, least the price is dirt cheap!" -Gerik Goldstone.
True as advertised, it is a Cheap revolver, costing 30 caps. Chambered on average in .38 caliber rounds, ammo is plentiful to find. Based on the pre-war Detroit pipe guns used in gang warfare, but instead it is mashed with a broken Police Revolver mixed with scrap metal, it is stable as a weapon made of scrap metal can be. First making itself known in 2080 on the new post-war gun market after the bombs fell in Appalachia, finding broken pistols dotted around the roads, streets, and police stations, it was an easy alteration to make. Filling the demand of wastelanders wanting a more powerful, reliable, and durable sidearm in place of the Crude pistol, having a cut in ammunition size to a small six rounds instead of the fourteen given with the Crude pistol, however, wastelandes preferred reliability over ammo counts, above all, the price was affordable.
Given the sturdy design with scrap welded together, the loading mechanism became a Loading gate system over the original model's swing-out loading system. This greatly cuts the ability to reload fast in a firefight, being fewer in number compared to the pre-war Pipe revolver, but holding more power from its fine-tuned pistol frame core compared to the pre-war pipe revolver, though this power came with the integrity of the revolver breaking down moderately faster. Boasting an astounding 90,000+ produced and still going. found in gun shops from Appalachian traveling merchants, all the way to the boneyard in the NCR, Cheap, reliable, effective, and lightweight, this is still a commonly wanted cheap gun to defend oneself over the more common pipe revolver. If you see a merchant, there is a 38% chance you will find one if you're short on caps and need a gun to protect yourself.
