We were SO close to greatness... but it seems right before Sonic the Hedgehog could punch Dr. M square in his smug face after shattering his barrier, Dr. M managed to shatter his fighting spirit too :/
By now it seems pretty obvious that if this was a fair fight Sonic would have won hands down like he usually does and sent the baddies running. Unfortunately, Dr. M had no intentions of fighting fair from the start. The question is what happens now? D:

I know he just said he's planning to use them as slaves, but I'm recalling 'Return to Neverland' where Captain Hook makes a similar promise towards Peter Pan, then promptly plucks the 'single hair' he won't harm off Pan's head and places it aside before ordering his execution.
