Ventura City Drifters: Emily Lang

Here is a picture that I did as a kind of gift for fellow artist sonokido: A picture of his character, a female anthropomorphic rabbit named Emily Lang from his webcomic series "Ventura City Drifters", in my original cartoon style. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I decided to take the opportunity to do more fan art featuring the characters from "Ventura City Drifters" after being able to check out the comic series sometime ago, and I was feeling inspired to draw a picture of Emily Lang after having some some artwork of Alina Scratch a while back, to which Emily is a character who is portrayed as a friendly rival to Alina despite them both playing on the same basketball team together, especially since Emily happens to be quite tall when compared to Alina (who is actually the shortest player on the team), and she also has kind of an attitude that makes her both stubborn and arrogant. For this picture I've done, I was able to draw a simple picture of Emily posing in her Drifters basketball uniform while holding onto the ball in a manner where she's about to pass or shoot it, and I'll admit that the trickest part of her ensemble to draw would be the Nike shoes due to how few references there were of Emily wearing them, though I would have just given her basic-looking basketball shoes that would match the colors of her uniform. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a red texture for the background, and I decided to fill up much of the empty space by adding yellow stars in different sizes. The picture turned out very nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.
