My Colossal Pony: Celestia on Earth
It had been a misconception. That’s all it was. Just a simple misconception. A very funny one but a misconception nevertheless. Princess Celestia of Equestria bit the bottom of her lip as she paced back and forth in front of the mirror in her room anxiously. But this was no ordinary mirror. No, this mirror was a portal to another world. There was one main one that she, her sister Luna, and her niece and nephew Princess Cadance and Prince Shining Armor use in a hidden chamber within the castle. But Celestia had made a separate mirror for herself for…personal use. She and Luna had gotten into contact with an alien race called humans, but when they initiated first contact they found out rather quickly that the scales of the two worlds were far different than anyone on either side could have predicted. Humanity was so small compared to ponies that Celestia had been able to fit an entire metropolis, one even bigger than Equestria’s own Manehatten, into the frog of her hoof and carry it back to her room so both parties had a more peaceful setting to discuss first contact terms. As such, Celestia tried to make an effort to not go to the other side often so she didn’t scare their new little friends with the marvel and overwhelming presence of themselves simply being there.
Though of course that didn’t stop her baby sister Luna, her niece Cadence, and nephew Shining Armor from going to Earth themselves. Celestia had gotten her own mirror in her room secretly, simply so she could observe the new little world and had seen the others making their way over there regularly. It had been sometime since she had last gone. Perhaps it was time she paid a visit herself? Truth be told, she was starting to get a little jealous that she was missing out on all the fun. And that was why Celestia currently found herself pacing back and forth in her room, trying to make up her mind.
“Oh Tia old girl, imagine how scary you must look to the humans. You’re the tallest Alicorn in Equestria. If you go over there the sun itself might as well be walking across the planet,” Celestia muttered to herself, getting more and more anxious by the second. She sighed, stopping her pacing in front of the mirror, with her multicolored tail swishing back and forth with anticipation as she looked out at the tiny world that lay on the other side.
“Oh the other hoof…well, I suppose a quick visit couldn’t hurt,” Celestia decided, throwing all caution to the wind. She really did want to go and visit. And honestly, who could blame her? Her more maternal side began to bubble up as it had done so many times before. Celestia had a whole planet to herself with over 8 billion little ones to smother with love and affection. Something she could hardly do with her own little ponies because of how much they were afraid to talk with her directly because of her royal status. No matter how much that wounded her soul. She never cared for the prim and proper etiquette of royalty. Over 1000 years of having to abide by it, it got old fast. As such, Celestia always felt sad that she could never truly express how much she loved and cared about each one of her little ponies. But with the discovery of this new world, Earth, she was not burdened by her reputation there as she was in Equestria. So her motherly side could shine through and she could freely express her love and care to the little ones as much as she wanted. Nodding to herself with her mind fully made up, Celestia stepped forward, her foreleg passing through the mirror as easily as stepping through a curtain.
A wave of fresh cold air hit her face as Celestia suddenly found herself outside. The princess of the sun let out a content sigh as she closed her eyes and spread her wings, stretching them out as far as they could go. Her wingspan covered the entire horizon and cast a shadow down onto the little world below. Well, if the little ones didn’t know she was there before, they certainly did now.
“Mmmmmmm. My dear little humans, how I’ve missed all of you!” Celestia exclaimed with joy, her eyes shining with delight as she casted her gaze down. It had been a few weeks since she had last made an appearance on Earth, and goodness, she had forgotten just how small they all were. The familiar bubbly feeling of care Celestia had felt so many times before in the past began to swell up inside her as she smiled. And now that she was back, it was time to put on a show.
The ground cracked and splintered as she lifted up one of her mighty hooves and took a step. Her alabaster white hoof landed down on the ground with a powerful impact, bouncing the town next to her foot into the air and back down again. Celestia giggled as her horn lit up with magic and caught the town in midair before gently setting it back down again. Those down below barely had any time to register what had just happened as a shadow passed overhead. They all looked up at the sky to see the underside of Celestia filling up the sky as she stepped over the town as she continued her stroll.
On the other side of the continent, the people on the ground felt the ground begin to shake. First it started off as minor tremors before it grew exponentially and in a rhythmic fashion. But as panic began to set in, people began to point up at the sky as something began to rise up over the horizon. A colossal white horn, one as big as a mountain began to rise up into the air. It was followed by an equally gigantic face belonging to an even more colossal Princess Celestia, who continued to rise up higher and higher into the air. The colossus paid the ground no mind as she continued to look forward and continued her walk.
Well, if the people didn’t feel tiny enough already as they looked up at the sheer size of the solar princess, they certainly felt tiny now. So small and insignificant they were compared to her that the titan didn’t even feel the need to look down and acknowledge their existence.
Or so they thought.
Internally, Princess Celestia giggled as she fought to control the smirk that was threatening to break across her face and the mirthful expression that was boiling up from the inside. It was a riveting feeling, knowing that so many eyes were on her. She wanted nothing more than to just scoop them all up into her hoof and bombard them with hugs and kisses. But she knew she’d have to be wayyyyy bigger if she wanted to make that dream a reality. Oh well, at least she could settle on what she originally had in mind.
If there was one thing Celestia had taken notice of, it was that the wings of both Alicorns and Pegasi were remarkably dexterous. Much like those hands that the humans had. In fact, after She and Luna had noticed that, they had both been practicing using their wings more like hands as often as they could, much to the confusion of their castle staff. But now however, she knew exactly what she wanted to try. Spreading out one of her wings, Celestia looked down at a nearby metropolis. A rather sizable one that could fit at least over 100 thousand humans minimum. Folding in some of her feathers, Celestia lowered her wing, the tip of it now resembling a hand pointing down as she drove her wing directly into the Earth.
RUMMMMMMBBBBBBLLLLLEEEEEE!!!
Celestia smirked as she drew in the earth, churning up the planet’s crust as easily as she would draw in the sand. Only this time, the humans could really feel the oomph of her strength. It was all a little flattering in all honesty. Being so big and powerful that a simple act to her like drawing in the ground was enough to shake up the world for millions. “All the more reason they’re all so adorable,” Celestia smiled as she finished drawing a heart in the ground. And in the center of the heart she drew was the entire city she was looking at earlier. But there was no cause for concern. Despite the damages, it was nothing that a good show of magic couldn’t fix. Something else that Celestia had discovered from her first visit was because of how weak and fragile everything was here, her supercharged and powerful alicorn magic worked extremely well here. There was practically no feat that was out of her grasp now. Repairing a city? An entire continent? Why that was now just light work for the gargantuan princess of the sun.
Celestia leaned forward happily, her colossal head shaking the atmosphere as the clouds near her face were erased from existence “How adorable you all look down there!” she spoke in a teasing tone before playfully pouting “But, I can’t see you all too well down there. Looks like I’ll just have to scoop you all up!” she exclaimed as her horn began to light up. To the humans, her horn looked like it was powered by a literal hurricane of arcane energy, swirling around like the biggest tornado in history. For Celestia, well, she was simply doing what she does any other day. The ground rumbled as the entire city began to rise up on that perfectly heart shaped cut of ground she had drawn. The chunk of land in the shape of a heart was no bigger than a coin. A single bit sized heart shaped chunk she had torn out of the ground with an even tinier city to boot. Celestia giggled as she held it up to her eye, knowing full well her gaze filled the human’s entire sky. And adding on to the show, she poured a little extra magic into her iris’ causing them to glow a warm magenta.
“Awwwww! You’re all so teeny weeny down there!” Celestia playfully said “I could just gobble you all up! Though, I think I’ll just settle for some extra large kisses!”
The titanic eye in the sky blinked and withdrew, only now getting replaced by two plush lips the filled the eternity of every single person’s vision that was being held in the city. But before anyone could react, the image in the sky began to grow even larger as Celestia leaned down for the kiss.
Mwah!
The little city was completely squashed beneath her colossal lips. Insignificant little crumbs of earth and rubble was all that remained in the golden cloud of magic. But Celestia was unconcerned, rather she turned her attention downward as she took note where every single one of the microbe sized humans had ended up.
Stuck to her lips.
They were all embedded in the soft flesh, caught between the giant crevices that were too small for Celestia to notice, but were plenty big to hold something as tiny as humanity. And wanting to up the ante even more, Celestia pursed her lips, shaking them up even more
RUMMMMMMMMMMBBBBBBBBLLLLLLEEEEEE!!!!
All at once, the continental lips the humans were on began to shake and sway as Celestia playfully moved about. They were all as tiny as specks of dust to her, and they were all hers to play with. Even though the size difference between the two worlds was unfathomably great, the people of earth had to count their lucky stars that one of the first visitors to their world, the one that the entire planet was currently at the mercy of, was just a gargantuan mom having fun.
“Mmmmmmm. Did you enjoy the ride my dear little humans?” Celestia said as softly as she could as she used her magic to gently peel them off her lips. And with a hurricane of her magic, the entire city was back on the ground and completely fixed. With the residents being guided back down to the ground and dropped off by the giant mare looming in the sky. Celestia gave them a smile and a wink before stepping over them as she resumed her stroll across the continent.
But that smile never left her face. She was well aware of the common topic that was always brought up with the humans and how overwhelmingly huge all the ponies were compared to them. From their perspective it was probably pretty scary seeing what looked like titans, even taller than their tallest mountains walking their planet. Celestia’s motherly side had come out in full force during day one of the first contact. Doing everything she could to reassure the little ones that she and her sister meant no harm. Now that some time had passed Celestia had still every intention to uphold her promise, though that didn’t mean she couldn’t let loose every now and again to have some fun. Celestia had to admit, she really does enjoy how huge she is here.
She couldn’t help but chuckle as she spread her wings and watched as a teeny tiny little plane flew between her feathers, like a gnat flying between one’s fingers. “My dear little humans, you thought we were supposed to be small, correct?” she playfully chided, getting reminded about how relieved the leaders of Earth were initially when they found out they were contacting ponies from another world, only to get the shock of their lives when they realized the ponies of Equestria were nowhere near the size as the ponies on Earth were.
Here on Earth, she, Luna, Cadence, and Shining Armor were all as big and powerful as physically possible and would do everything they could to protect and love their new little friends. Even if that meant that they would occasionally visit to play around with the humans for a bit.
I'll admit, I had a lot of fun writing this story for Celestia. Aside from Chrysalis, she might be another top tier favorite character of mine.

BottleH2O, I really have to tell you: What you've created here with *My Colossal Pony: Celestia on Earth* is a wonderfully imposing, yet warm-hearted and tongue-in-cheek piece of gigantophilia literature, with a Celestia at the peak of her loving, divine omnipotence. Your balance between majestic scale and maternal affection is masterfully achieved. The opening with Celestia's inner conflict about whether she should visit Earth is not only relatable but also very charmingly brings out her vulnerable, almost shy side. However, as soon as she dares to step through the mirror, a spectacle of scale, visual power, and wonderfully exaggerated caring unfolds. The way you portray her movements, her magical power, and her interactions with humanity appears to be a gentle interplay between goddess and toy world, never malicious, but always driven by genuine love and curiosity. I especially liked the heart print in the ground, including the entire town, and how she lovingly “kissed” everyone at the end; it's incredibly tender. The ending, where Celestia makes a tongue-in-cheek reference to humanity's false expectations of pony sizes, rounds the whole thing off perfectly. It's playful, charming, and epic all at once. A truly stunning homage to Celestia's infinite motherhood, and your love for her as a character is palpable in every line.
