Another day, another volunteer to become a R.O.B Drone for me. This time it’s Isabelle, the cute secretary from Animal Crossing who everyone loves to bits. And I mean, come on, who better to turn into really ANY kind of drone than a woman who’s already a personal assistant to the player? Or to Tom Nook, depending on which game we are talking about. Isabelle got a little curious while seeing my sona walking around Paradise *yes, that’s actually what I called my island in New Horizions. Creative name, I know.* while as a R.O.B Drone and just because I was hypnotized into thinking I am a robot doesn’t mean I didn’t still take notice of the cute Anthro shitzu looking in fascination. So of course, I had to offer Isabelle the chance to try it out since she was so curious. In fact, considering how over worked I personally feel she is I’d say hypnosis helps her out a lot heh. Plus I think she looks cute as drone. Given this is a character from Animal Crossing we are talking about she’s a perfect Player 2 for more casual games, games on easy mode or more cinematic games. Which despite what some gamer folk will try and tell you there’s NOTHING wrong with! Hell, I’d gladly play some Beyond Two Souls with her! :D

For Isabelle’s R.O.B Drone colours I decided to go with one of the colours the original 3DS could come in, the aqua colours. And there’s actually a few reasons why I went this design for her. Aside from the obvious one that Animal Crossing New Leaf was a 3DS game and Isabelle made her debut in that game there’s also how my original 3DS I had in high school was the aqua coloured one before I upgraded to the New 3DS XL… Which was still a blue one anyway. So of course there was a bit of personal bias when coming up with this colour scheme for Isabelle. Then again, canonically my self insert was the one who came up with the design for the R.O.B drones so there’s bound to be some personal bias when it comes to specific colour choices I put certain characters in. Not to mention how New Leaf was my first ever Animal Crossing game so there’s even more of a personal reason for me picking both this design and Isabelle for this one heh.

Honestly though, it just feels good to get something related to Animal Crossing again considering New Horizons and by extension my island of Paradise is five years old at this point. And you know, it being a game that means a lot to me given it came out during one of the worst years of mine and a lot of other people’s lives… Also I’m only now just realizing this is the first actual Nintendo character I’ve gotten as one of these Nintendo themed drones of mine lol.
