A Gengar and His Candy (5/5)
And so, merely an hour later, Kovaz had almost emptied out the candy store. His gullet was stuffed with dozens upon dozens of chocolate bars, he broke jawbreakers with his giant teeth with ease, he happily gulped down mouthful upon mouthful of giant king-sized taffy strips, gladly helped himself to all the soda he could possibly find inside the refrigerators along the wall, and all the while he cackled and cackled away.
Though he had devoured most of the store's supply of candy and was happily helping himself to more, he also knew that it would be best to take some of his haul with him. Shoveling even more varieties of sugary sweets into a bowl he'd previously emptied, he quickly phased through the walls of the store, bringing the bowl with him as he soared off into the night sky to continue gorging himself until the sun came up the next day...
Aaand he's finished! Fully grown, embracing his gluttony, and flying throughout the night sky. What a beautiful sight!

Goodness, this was a great sequence. Especially reading the story accompanying each part - felt more digestible (hehe). Reading about the swathes of candy made me want in on it a little…
And I absolutely adore Nathan & Kovaz’ dynamic, I’ve always been a sucker for mortal/spirit pairings & possession in the mix makes it ALL the better! They look fantastic together~
