Thank the gawds that animal characters aren't restricted to the role of clown anymore. I love mixing genres and seeing what happens. Screwy Squirrel versus Dracula!

Why not mix? I really don't like this idea that some stuff is for kids and other stuff is for adults. It was bad enough a few decades ago, but I think it's growing worst. The hardest hit, I would guess, is comics and animation/cartoons. Despite the increase in adult material subtly(and not so subtly) popping up in these medias. In some cases it may just be camera angles or cloths. In others, it's adult from the setting right down to the dialog. But it appears (as far as I can see), people pick up a book or see a movie that is pg-13 or higher and treat it as a rare thing. Then what, only a few think to check out other productions to see if they have more mature items in them? Must be, I don't see the growth in numbers like I should. I run into so many people that are amazed to hear what I have in my animation library. And that I have a few cute things done by even Warner and Disney (maybe the censors were sleeping on rare occasions).
So you and anybody else has my support for advancing the idea that comics, animation and related medias aren’t just for the kiddies, YEA!
I don't know if I moved the conversation along, but I feel better for venting.
