Although various aspects had been developing in my mind for some time prior, it was only ten years ago today that they all began to coalesce into the vast gestalt entity we all know and love (well, tolerate - well, are aware of) as Space Pirate Captain MacTaggart. Or at least, I've always had July 12th 2015 pinned down as the date I began seriously working on SPCM. It's kept me busy ever since, and while I've barely received any reward or recognition, I've always had fun with it, and I guess that's what's kept me going all these years.
And after ten years, I'm sure the inevitable question is gonna come up: Why? And my answer to that is: The only reason I've ever done anything - it seemed like a good idea at the time!
