Rei had grabbed a temp job at the Poke-cafe, a local establishment which mainly employed pokemon anthros. She may have stuck out like a sore thumb, but Rei still put every bit of effort she could into her work, and quickly made friends with the anthros she worked with. It was a busy morning when she felt a tingling all across her body.

Her transformation was quick and explosive, skin turning into smooth and incredibly tough dragon hide as her clothes were reduced to shred by her changing frame. A tail ripped through her pants as her changing feet ruined her shoes, though she had little time to focus on that as her head hit the cafe's ceiling. The structure of the cafe shattered as her hair grew long and flowing, standing taller than the building as the changes finally stopped. Looking down at herself, she recognized the familiar yellow rings and tail of a rayquaza, a shiny at that!

Her boss walked out of his office, looking up at her without even a hint of surprise before speaking. She may not have been a barista anymore, but at least she still had her job, and one that had her soaring through the skies.
