Happy summer to all the awesome readers out there; I hope you and any pets of yours have a pleasant time despite the heat!
You may be asking why I'm wearing a scarf in the middle of summer, to which I say it's a newer fashion choice of mine; I won't let Mother Nature dictate what I wear! The heat also didn't stop me from going to Anthrocon this year, which I had an extremely lovely time at; it was a desperately needed vacation for my mental health, what with me getting to hang out with good friends and meet lots of other awesome people, so I'm super glad that I went. Other highlights included browsing the huge market and artist areas, attending some casual panels, and eating from some really nice restaurants in Pittsburgh!
I did also commission a bunch of art while I was there, which I'll gradually upload later, but I first wanted to share this amazing birthday present that my super friend The Stickman drew for me! Lil' Ma'am, my pet hedgehog, did not join me at Anthrocon since she's a small and sensitive bean, nor is she really a fan of the bright outdoors, but here's how we might look posed together for a fashion shoot! This really cute artwork has a very vibrant style to it, and I like the pleasant background as well, so thank you very much to the talented artist!
Other artwork as well as writing from The Stickman can be seen on this website and his personal website; I highly recommend leaving comments too! He also has a Bluesky account that's worth following; I can confirm that he is a funny and creative man on there. Thanks again for the gift art, awesome lizard friend of mine!
