Lirielle is a faun girl with a unique vitiligo pattern on her skin who owns a cozy and welcoming tavern, seemingly appearing out of nowhere at wanderers' most needed moments. Her gentle and friendly demeanor is deceptive, and behind her back always stands her loyal and winged spiky dragon Spixir, her faithful companion and protector, whom she has raised since he was just an egg. Together they are an inseparable pair, forever responsible for each other. Lirielle is a patient and caring hostess, who sometimes takes on waitressing duties herself to keep the tavern in order and keep it warm and cozy. Despite her seeming defenselessness, she knows how to stand up for herself and her guests, especially when drunken or inconsiderate customers try to throw her off balance. The vitiligo on her skin makes her even more special and memorable, and her love for the tavern and her guests is reflected in her every move. Her tavern is her home and a place to find rest, support and friendship in her long journey, and Liriel is a symbol of kindness and resilience in this world.Spixir is a large winged, spiky dragon who is very brave and always stands guard over Lirielle, warning her of any danger.
Spixir can make melodious clicks and whistles to communicate with the landlady and the other tavern dwellers. When winter comes, he is able to warm the room a little with his body, helping to keep the tavern at a comfortable temperature on cold evenings.
