Original Species: Mocking Ripper
The Mocking Ripper is an extremely dangerous wyvern native to the jungles of Shangrila. While wyverns are, in general, not a sapient type of dragon, they can still be intelligent. The Mocking Ripper's threat comes from how clever and cunning it is, as well as from what it was named for: vocal mimicry.
Similar to many birds, this wyvern can imitate various sounds from its environment. This includes sounds made by other wyverns. It uses these sounds to lure in prey and then kill it with its powerful arm-claws.
This mimicry is not limited to animal noises… but also human speech. Following a rather gruesome discovery (a torn-apart campsite made by unauthorized visitors to Shangrila), the research team noted that the Mocking Ripper found in that area was able to mimic human voices… and screams. This nearly cost the life of one of the research team members, who heard frantic calls for help in the forest and ran off to investigate, only to run into the previously undocumented wyvern... The researcher in question was fortunately saved at the last moment by Najila.
Mocking Rippers are elusive creatures, and following the initial encounter, there were no further sightings. However, researchers have noted unsettling vocalizations coming from the forest. The initial specimen was not slain during the confrontation… and it seems to be "practicing" its vocalizations.

That behavior reminds me of a different creature from the anime 'Made in Abyss' called a Corpse Weeper:
