Thanatos Lore WIP

Gorgonis/Chaos Lore: If he were lose his entire family and everything/everyone he cared for, this would be the end result. Chaos and Gorgonis finally fully merging and becoming a monster unlike any other. This is what happens when you give someone like him nothing to lose. The fusion of Godzilla and Ghidorah, becoming...Bagan.

In another timeline....the Thanatos series:

In an alternate Timeline…after the events of Godzilla vs Ghidorah…

10/10/64. The different combat sites where Godzilla and Ghidorah fought, along with the other Kiaju DNA, were explored and we are confident we have enough samples to create something to help understand the monsters better. For the military, this might be a a way to weaponize the knowledge against the titans, while others might choose to use this knowledge for other reasons.

12/10/66. We have used the Regeneration factor, after removing the radiation and other problematic genetics, and used it to help fight diseases and use this trait for medical purposes. But Area 51, after it was rebuilt, has gained information about the discoveries and has shipped them over to their labs.

5/23/72. Area 51 has created, with the use of the technology gained from alien technology stored and studied there, and the knowledge gained from the artifact: they have begun using the DNA to create monsters of their own..3 monsters were made: Destoroyah, Hedorah and Bagan.

10/12/72. Despite many attempts, the monsters Destoroyah and Hedorah proved to be too unstable and died in their containers. However, Bagan seemed to be having greate success, but it seems they also added human DNA to help with making it easier to control…though it might have the reverse effects that they want.

12/14/73. Project Bagan has awoken. It is a hulking, monstrous form that has a wicked intelligence in its eyes..a perfect, devilish hybrid of Godzilla and Ghidorah…though only larger than a human, it is still massive, only being 18 feet high and extremely powerful. It also seems to learn from watching. Because of this, it has learned language too quickly with its alien mind, tampering into the minds of others around him, with his mind being like an organic super computer…With his mind and Power, we might have created something that actually might kill us if we do not give him respect.

01/19/74. One of our scientists have mistreated him with prejudice and has caused him to enrage multiple times, the final time was when the scientist verbally harassed him, along with Bagan being stabbed in the chest by him after an altercation occurred. Right after, Bagan crushed his skull in his claws and let loose a thunderous roar…little did we know that this roar would be answered.

01/22/74. Godzilla and his kin have stormed Area 51 in a brutal assault. But things came to a halt with Bagan himself known to Godzilla. Both of them stared at each other, some folks wondering what could happen…seeming to be a silent conversation going on between them…and then the most horrifying thing came to be. Bagan turned on us and joined Godzilla. Bagan spoke in a demonic, low voice that he is Bagan no longer, but is now Thanatos. With this..Godzilla now has a new ally in his midst, a power being with his power and Ghidorahs…this actually might end up being the end of the world.


Height/Length: 18 feet high and 32 feet long.
Weight: 2 tons

Powers and Abilities:
~Extreme Durability, can take a tank shell to the face and be barely damaged.
~Extreme Regeneration, able to heal in seconds and regrow limbs in a few minutes.
~Very Powerful Muscles, can throw several tons with ease with help of his telepathic abilities.
~Has telekinetic and telepathic abilities that allows him to damage people with their minds, forcing them into many conditions like seizures, concussions, etc, along with reading their minds. Can also use telepathy to lift heavier things, combined with his severe strength, he can throw objects many times his weight.
~Solar Powered, an ability gained from Ghidorah
~His Breath Beam attack has the combined power of both Godzilla's Atomic Blast and Ghidorah's Gravity Beams, letting loose a beam of atomic power with the forces of the void backing it, destroying any objects into atoms.
~Has powers very similar to Godzilla, like Atomic Pulse, channeling atomic energy into melee attacks, which he can do the same with Ghidorah's gravity beam energy.
~Can discharge beams into the sky from his horns, which will reign down like bombs on his enemies in the surrounding area.
~From his left hand, he can channel the gravity beam energy into forming a small black hole that he can throw into an area that’ll de-atomize anything that is within the area of effect, but shortly after the small gravity hole will fade away.
~His right arm has an extendable blade made of pure atomic energy that is subtly charged by gravity beam power. It is capable of puncturing and cutting metal like a hot knife going into butter, but he is able to control the energy output.
~Can levitate himself and other objects.
~Can spread and retract his wings to fly or to hide them away.
~His mind is capable of learning from seeing.
~Now also has knowledge of firearms and knows how to use them, but seems to only use firearms for fun.


This idea I had in my head in for a while and I finally spit the idea out to my artist and they did not disappoint at all! This is his best art piece he's done for me so far and I enjoy the shit out of it!

I also got to witness this artist grow over the last couple years and I couldn't be more proud of them.
