This is Golduck, #55. Part of a project to make a huge collaboration between artists to complete the pokedex. He's meditating on a giant lily pad. :)
Since I love pokemon (For the art and the gameboy games.. Never understood the card game :/ ), I thought I'd get some practice in, not only for traditional coloring but for unique animal thingies that I don't normally draw.

I think it's a neat idea to have all different types of artists come together to make one huge list of Poké pictures. I have a few others in mind that I'd like to do. Still heartbroken that I couldn't do psyduck, though. :P

I requested Sawk on the journal. It doesn't look like anyone else has taken him, so I think I'm in the clear, but I still worry somewhat that he's already being worked on by someone else. Will just need to get my ass in gear, I suppose.
And argh, Psyduck. Bad memories of a Psyduck wiping the floor with half my team way back when I was a kid on Pokemon Blue. D:

Well if it hasn't been taken, I think you're in the clear. :) I haven't run into any problems of people drawing out before requesting yet, so good luck!
I requested weezing now.. Crazy, yeah? :P For some reason I like drawing the most underloved pokemon best. Don't think I can make one as semi-realistic as this golduck, though.. Gotta keep him toony so he doesn't scare all my watchers away, heh.
