Almost Like Being In Love - Anthrocon Big Band 2025
My song pick for the AC big band this year was "Almost Like Being in Love" by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Lowe.
Originally written for the musical Brigadoon, it has since become a jazz standard sung by the likes of Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Natalie Cole, and Ella Fitzgerald among many others. I had SUPER fun singing this and the crowd really got into it too!
