You've never seen a koopa look so Tired. His glasses age him like a curse, and a certain paleness belies years of hard retail. He is salted margarine left deep in the back of the fridge, hardened against the world, but after so many years the cracks have finally chipped away, to reveal a smile long since buried.

One more Disco Elysium style portrait, of Klair's husband enjoying his retirement from the drudgery of grocery retail. You probably recognise him from an earlier commish quite recently, and originally I was expecting a more bitter Shelldon, but  jamescorck went with a more relieved/tired look that I think fit him really well.
