It's another picture request from my Big 352 Watchers Art Giveaway! But don't look at https://www.furaffinity.net/view/60708166 because this one came in through confidential channels from the mysterious person behind Rota Redom of Wolfery muck.
So the request was for Rota flying an Austin kite, which is a heck of a fun idea I'm glad was put in my head.
Rota ended up younger than their ordinary presentation mostly because getting references for just what it looks like to fly a kite? Harder than you think. So I went with a reference that I thought I could work from and of course I'm wearing my influences on my snoot. I can't hardly do otherwise.
The Austin kite --- I haven't decided if that's yet another quirky transformation or simply a licensed product (can it be post-tf if nobody's looking at their paws? But if it's object post-tf ... ) --- is referenced from pictures of Chinese dragon kites, where this string of discs looked like a great way to depict tail rings. And then it turned out there's no way to show enough coati-kite to get the tail in the picture. Just doing both a ground and a sky scene was hard enough.
I don't know that Rota is a purple person but it seemed to fit.

Glad you like! Also that you noticed the dual strings; I spent a ridiculous amount of time thinking that out and I'm still not completely happy with it. But it doesn't look too obviously wrong.
... And yeah, I think the kite thing works for me. Long, ambiguously plastic, rolling with the wind. All fits together.
