A portrait of my ranger character with his reptile creature pet on his shoulders. I used different traditional mediums for the drawing.
For the character I mainly used colored pencils. Highlights were drawn on top with a white acrylic marker, and for some reflected light effects, I used gouache. For the background I used flexible modelling paste for the first time to create a painterly texture. After that I painted over the modelling paste with watercolors.
